Pizza is super!!! My go to is the mushroom! Staff is friendly, place is clean, pizza hot and good! They deliver too!!! Kinda pricey but worth it!

Had a thin crust pizza...was pretty good...would have like sauce as the base rather than all cheese. That's it. Oh, sausage was great on the pizza - real Italian sausage. Service was prompt and polite. Extablishment was clean and organized.

I was visiting Phoenix this past week to do some things for my adult son. And, since I could literally eat pizza seven days a week, I searched for a place to go and get me some. Submarinos's Pizzeria was about fifteen minutes from my hotel, and since I do not like eating from the big chain pizza restaurants unless I absolutely have to, I figured it was worth the drive. It WAS worth the drive! I ordered a slice of pepperoni pizza and Submarino's "legendary" lasagna. Everything came out piping hot and the lasagna did NOT disappoint!! The lasagna - as one might expect with a "legendary" dish - was served in a ceramic lasagna boat and was bubbling hot with sauce and melted cheese! It also came with a good sized portion of garlic butter bread. Everything tasted very DELICIOUS! Submarino's uses a savory pomodoro sauce instead of one that is sweet. Anyone who has ever had lasagna in Italy will certainly attest to the fact that pomodoro sauce should always be savory and not sweet! The lasagna was really great and should I ever re-visit Phoenix, I will definitely hit up Submarino's again!! Submarino's does not serve beer, so that was a bit of a letdown. The sodas and water offered are all bottled. For me that wasn't a big deal since I could not have a beer anyhow. The facilities at Submarino's was clean and well stocked. Simple. If you're in Phoenix and you don't give Submarino's a try, you're loss! If you do give it a go, best order at least one serving of lasagna! But, be very careful, because the lasagna will be scalding hot! Eat well. Be well. Cheers!

I'm a regular here at this point. Well rounded, everything I have ever ordered here is exceptional. Philly cheesesteak spot on, huge pizza slices with unique options, and bomb crispy wings! Family joint, and they deliver if you are nearby. Service is great, you can tell they care!

The workers are always very pleasant and helpful. My go-to order is always a pepperoni Stromboli. It is absolutely delicious, and they give you a large cup of marinara sauce to use for dipping.

Hate paying all the app fees? This is a local place, that delivers! We are frequent flyers and get deliveries regularly. Love their drivers and food is solid. If I'm ordering food this is my go to place multiple times a month!

Very welcoming, I came in during lunch. It seemed like there were a lot of regulars or they are just that personable. The guy working the kitchen came up to take my order since another worker was on the phone and the other was cleaning. I liked how it was very clean. She swept up the dining area about 3x in the hour I was there. The food did not take long, I just ate slowly for once. There's Pepsi products, Gold Peak iced tea. I had a lunch special, a small hot sandwich with a drink and chips. The sandwich I had was the Philly, but they also had things like a Chicken or Eggplant Parm. The guy taking my order said the Philly was one of their best sellers. I have a big appetite and I ate the sandwich but saved the chips for later bc I was pod off just the sandwich. It was nicely done, not too salty which is always good. Definitely not too greasy which is generally a concern of mine with Philly sandwiches. It was tasty. The bread was toasted, and had a decent flavor. It wasn't too cheesy, which I'm sure some of y'all might say, you can never have too much cheese. I'm just saying it was balanced. I definitely want to come back and try other sandwiches or maybe to satiate my sweet tooth. They have cookies y'all. Yasssss.

Their smallest size whole pizza is 16 inches. I got myself one of those with 3 toppings and it cost me $22.30. It had 8 slices in it and 3 of them made me full which means that it's $8.36 for a meal. The only topping I felt meh about was the ricotta. Otherwise, service was friendly and they made my pizza in 18 minutes of time. Parmesan cheese and crushed red peppers are also free unlike some other chain pizza places out there.

First time here. Great customer service, nice little spot tucked away in the corner of shopping center. Pizza slices are big and dough is perfect thickness. The mozzarella sticks were great as well
